As an Early Years and Childcare Charter member, the Charter Member forum is a termly meeting where practitioners who work within the Early Years and Childcare sector can come together to discuss and share best practice examples about how they are working towards the Charter principles, what works well, the impact of being a member of the Charter and any further support required.
This term's forum will also be beginning to think about next steps for Year 2 of the Charter and progress of settings so far. Please direct your settings/schools to book their place by visiting the Education Essex online booking system and search using the course name ‘Early Years and Childcare Charter forum’. Find Your Active Small Grants Programme
Active Essex is reopening their Find Your Active Small Grants Programme. If are signed up to the Early Years and Childcare charter and your organisation supports 0-5 year olds, you are eligible for this funding opportunity. Your organisation can apply for up to £3000 towards the project and you must demonstrate how this proposal will work towards the principles you have signed up to.
