In May 2019, the revised Southend, Essex, Thurrock (SET) Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures was launched.
Alongside this, a list of updated chapters has been published that also shows any impact on practice.
Stage 2 will see a further revision to the SET Child Protection procedures and is intended for launch in October 2019. This revision will take into account the new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements across Southend, Essex and Thurrock, as well as information sharing processes. It will reflect changes in legislation and statutory guidance.
