Children with special educational needs and disabilities
Every setting must have a SENCO (special educational needs coordinator). Their role is to identify children with special educational needs and / or disabilities (SEND) and help meet their needs. Some elements may overlap with the ENCO (equality named coordinator) role.
Training
We have a range of training available. See our:
- training programme for details of SENCO training
- SEND advice and training page
